Spaces
A Space is a dashboard someone in your workspace published — a pipeline board, an account health page, a launch checklist — built on what Alma knows and kept current as that changes.
You meet them in two places: the Spaces panel on Home, and the Spaces page behind its header link. Both list exactly what was shared with you, so a Space you cannot open is a Space you never see.
Opening one
Section titled “Opening one”A card carries the Space’s name, how it opens, who shared it, and a Live mark while it is being kept current.
- Embed renders the dashboard inline, inside your workspace.
- Window opens it in its own tab.
Radar is a Space too — a built-in one, with coverage meters instead of a thumbnail, and only for members with admin access or above. It opens Alma’s own Radar page rather than someone’s dashboard.
Who can see this
Section titled “Who can see this”Every Space says who its audience is, in the same place on every row, card and header: an icon and a sentence.
- A crowd icon means the whole workspace — “Everyone at Meridian”.
- A lock means anything narrower — “Private · Admins only”, “Private · Admins and Finance”, or “Everyone at Meridian · except Ben Lim”.
Open a Space and that line becomes a button. Pressing it shows Who can see this: the audience spelled out, the groups it was shared with, the people it reaches, and the people a rule shuts out.
Changing who can see one
Section titled “Changing who can see one”Members read the audience; they do not set it. Sharing is edited in the Console, so Manage access appears in the popover only if you can reach it — and never on a built-in Space like Radar, whose audience is fixed whoever is looking.
If a Space should reach more people, ask whoever shared it. The model behind their answer — a baseline audience, then allow and deny rules — is described under Spaces · Access.
