Alignment
Memory is what Alma knows. Alignment is what your company is doing about it: priorities, accountability, and standing instructions.
The five sections
People — the directory of everyone your organization works with. Most people here have never signed in.
Groups — teams and functions you can point Alma at.
Outcomes — the priorities you’re driving toward, who’s accountable, and what progress looks like.
Schema — the kinds of things Alma keeps in Memory, and the fields each one has.
Directives — standing instructions that steer Alma across the workspace.
Why this matters
Everything else in the Console depends on Alignment. A workflow’s approval checkpoint routes to a person. Its access rules name groups. Its ROI is priced from people’s loaded rates. A topic’s shape comes from a schema type. What Alma writes is steered by directives.
You don’t have to author all of this by hand. A research campaign can propose outcomes, people, groups, and topics from your connected sources.
