Welcome to Alma

Alma learns how your company works, turns the repetitive parts into governed workflows, and asks a person to decide when judgment is needed.

This documentation is for admins and implementors — the people who connect the company’s tools, shape what Alma knows, and decide who can approve what. Almost everything here happens in the Console, the admin environment.

Open the Console from the workspace switcher — click your workspace name in the top-left corner, then Console. It’s only visible to members with Admin or Implementer access; a Member who follows a console link is redirected to their workspace.

How Alma works

Alma’s work happens in three stages that repeat.

Learn. Alma connects to your tools, reads what it’s allowed to read, and asks your team the questions no document answers. This becomes Memory — a living model of your company that grounds everything else.

Run. Alma turns Memory into workflows: a sequence of steps, some run by AI, some deterministic, some gated by a person. Workflows don’t run until you enable them.

Weigh in. When a workflow reaches a checkpoint, it pauses and routes the decision to the right person with context already attached. They approve or decline, and the run continues from there.

Each cycle improves the next: the workflows you launch sharpen Memory, and the corrections people make at checkpoints teach Alma what’s right for your company.

Alpha status

Alma is in private alpha, and some Console surfaces aren’t available yet — a tab that stays empty, a control that doesn’t save. Where that applies, the page says so:

Coming soon. This surface isn’t available yet.

If a page doesn’t include this callout, everything it describes works today.
