Add Alma to Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop can talk to Alma directly. Once it is connected you can ask what is waiting on you, what a workspace knows about a customer, or to draft a reply — without leaving the chat you are already in.

About 2 minutes.

  1. In Claude Desktop, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste your workspace address: find it in your avatar → Chat apps, where Alma shows the address.
  4. Claude opens a browser to sign you in to Alma. Approve the connection.
  5. Back in Claude, start a chat and ask what is waiting on you.

Claude sees what you can see. It reads your tasks, the topics your workspace has shared with you, and the connections you have approved; it cannot reach another member’s inbox or a Space you are not in.

Anything that changes the world — sending a reply, updating a record — still arrives as a task for you to approve, exactly as it does in Alma.

Check that the address you pasted is the one from your avatar → Chat apps: it carries your workspace, and Alma has nothing to show without it. If Claude asks you to sign in again, that is the connection expiring rather than breaking — approve it and the tools come back.
