Connecting GitHub gives Alma visibility into your development workflow and lets agents interact with repositories.

What Alma captures

• Repositories — Repo names and descriptions.
• Pull requests — Titles, descriptions, reviewers, and status.
• Reviews — Code review activity and approvals.
• Contributors — Who is contributing to which repositories.

Agent capabilities

With GitHub connected, agents can:

• Create and comment on issues.
• Monitor PR activity.
• Get pull request details — retrieve a PR’s changed files, patches, reviews, and merge status.
• Review pull requests — submit approvals, request changes, or leave comments on a PR.
• Merge pull requests — merge a PR using merge, squash, or rebase strategies.
• Reference repository context when executing responsibilities.

Connecting

1. Go to Settings → Connections.
2. Click Connect on GitHub.
3. Authorize Alma with your GitHub organization.

GitHub is an organization-level connection.
