Figma
Connecting Figma lets Alma monitor your team’s design files for updates and gives agents the ability to read file content and post comments.
What Alma captures
- File updates — Changes to Figma files in your team, captured via webhooks.
- Design context — File structure, frames, and component information available to agents.
Connecting
Figma uses OAuth authentication via Composio. You will need your Figma Team ID before connecting.
Finding your Team ID
Your Team ID appears in the URL when you navigate to your team in Figma:
https://www.figma.com/files/team/{TEAM_ID}/...
Connection steps
- Go to Settings → Connections.
- Click Connect on Figma.
- Enter your Figma Team ID in the dialog and click Continue.
- You’ll be redirected to authorize via OAuth. Complete the authorization flow.
- Once connected, Alma registers webhooks for your team’s file events and displays your team name.
Figma is a personal connection — each team member connects their own Figma account and specifies their team.
Agent tools
Once connected, agents can:
- Read file content — Access file structure, frames, nodes, and metadata.
- Post comments — Add comments to Figma files on behalf of the connected user.
- Manage components and variables — Read and update design tokens and component definitions.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the Figma connection card to revoke access. Alma removes the registered webhooks and stops processing new Figma events. Knowledge already extracted remains in your memory.
